After almost a decade in senior strategic marketing and communications roles in Asia with a PRC focus, on returning to Australia, the gap between expectation and outcomes for those seeking to do business with China was startling. Protocol was established to meet this need, and leverage Adrienne’s decade of experience on the ground in these markets.

Adrienne has a reputation for excellence in strategic thinking and relationship building through her career in creative and strategic roles in global multi-national advertising and brand agencies, working in London, Sweden, Australia, and across Asia.

Originally from New Zealand, as founder partner of Voice Brand Agency, Adrienne was responsible for the strategy behind 100% Pure New Zealand one of the most acclaimed brand ideas in global tourism. Her strong affiliation with New Zealand business continues through close relationships in marketing, brand, culture and commerce.

With leading edge work for Vodafone in four global markets, blue-chip clients AMP, NAB, Air New Zealand, Qantas and strategic assignments for Governments including The New Zealand Millennium Celebrations, Invest Australia’s DFI brand and global campaign, the business gained a reputation for innovative, commercially successful brand and marketing solutions.

Adrienne’s understanding of the challenges and opportunities for business to engage successfully in China and ability to work successfully at the highest levels of enterprise and government has been valuable to global brands and business both consumer and B2B and in major projects delivered for the Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai Governments.

Adrienne is looking forward to meeting women who are seeking to effectively engage in Asian markets.
