Fay Jackson
Deputy Commissioner
NSW Mental Health Commission

Fay Jackson is the Deputy Commissioner of the NSW Mental Health Commission. She is also the General Manager of Inclusion at RichmondPRA which is a large not for profit CMO supporting people with mental health issues in the community.
Fay is one of the eleven National Mental Health Commissions Leaders, is on the federal governments National Consumer Reference Group and is a multi award winning public speaker. Fay is dedicated to improving the lives of her community of brothers and sisters with mental health issues. She has been awarded the international Meritorious Service to Community Medal and has been made a Paul Harris Fellow and an Associate Fellow of the University of Technology, NSW.

Previous to her current roles Fay was the CEO of Vision In Mind which delivered training and consultancy in mental health in the workplace. She has also been a Consumer Advocate and Director of Consumer Carer and Community Affairs with the South East Sydney Illawarra Area Health Service.

Fay is a strong member of the International Peer Work Movement and is focused on breaking down the barriers and difficulties for people with lived experience of mental health issues in the workplace. She delivers education and training in supporting managers and other staff to work well with mental health issues and to improve the wellbeing of the entire workplace.

The NSW Mental Health Commission and RichmondPRA are at the cutting edge of changing services for people with mental health issues. We are focused on a whole of government approach, on intergenerational needs, on the needs of differing cultures and the physical health and psych social needs of all.
