Jo coaches businesses to build great workplaces via optimising their People, Productivity & Potential. She started her career as a registered nurse before transitioning into the Commercial side of business. She worked in a variety of Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Strategic Planning and Management roles for a multinational manufacturing, sales and service company with responsibilities for a number of multimillion$ portfolios across ANZ, AsiaPac and Latin America.

Throughout that time, Jo’s business & people management accomplishments were recognised by being the recipient of a number of prestigious sales, management, teamwork and business contribution awards. She moved from NZ to Sydney in early 2001, and completed her Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) at the Sydney Graduate School of Management in 2004.

Since mid 2008, Jo’s background & hands on experience has proven to be of great value in working on her own and other’s businesses in the areas of HR, Business and 1 : 1 coaching with Australian & international SMEs over a wide range of industries. Partnering with her clients, she has successfully achieved a number of outcomes including the following:

Jo’s years of experience and involvement in day to day leadership and management of staff, development of goals and strategies, best Practice Process & Procedure design as well as providing Practical support in the implementation and deployment of the above HR and business services to her clients, have provided her with a deep understanding of all aspects of business at both the strategic and functional level which is proving to be of continuing great value to her clients. This work also allows her to indulge in her passion for ensuring their People are a real & strategic asset for employers as well as assisting them in moving toward their own satisfaction and goal achievement.

Jo is a certified member of a HR Coach which is an Australian based network of over 100 HR & Business Coaches throughout Asia Pac, an active networker, a member of the NSW Business Chamber, Ryde Business Forum, a member on the SGSM MBA programme Advisory committee, a member of the Australian Directors Institute, a CAHRI member and the past President of Tiger City BNI.
