Kamlee Coorey
Partner _ Deloitte
Corporate and International Tax Services

Kamlee has over 17 years’ experience across multiple industries providing corporate and international tax advice to Australian and multi-national organisations. As a Partner in the Deloitte Corporate and International Tax Practice, Kamlee is proud of the contribution she has made to her clients in advising on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reconstructions, tax consolidations and general tax compliance.

However, she views some of her key achievements as contributing to initiatives that help develop and grow individuals or groups. For example, she is an active member on the Deloitte National Inspiring Women Group; an Advisory Board member to Macquarie University School of Accounting and Corporate Governance; and is involved in the Lucy Mentoring Program - an innovative longstanding program originated by the NSW Office for Women's Policy (Department of Premier and Cabinet) to inspire, motivate and educate young women about the opportunities available for employment and leadership in the public and private sectors.

As part of the Lucy program Kamlee has mentored a number of students since 2008, and continues to provide invaluable advice and coaching to a number of Lucy Program graduates. Kamlee has benefited from quality mentoring and coaching throughout her career and believes that women in particular often need active support to have the confidence to undertake a senior role within an organisation.

Kamlee is a mother to four high-school aged children, has a Bachelor of Economics, a Bachelor of Laws, is a Chartered Tax Adviser, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

EWA presents a platform to build relationships with other executives and emerging leaders, gain valuable insights and opportunities for collaboration.
