I have 30 years of experience working in professional environments in the UK, USA and Australia.

Since November 2012 I have been Head of Audit Policy, then Audit & Insolvency Leader at Chartered Accountants Australia + New Zealand, driving and promoting a leading audit profession in Australia and supporting the strength of the insolvency profession. My role is to engage and positively influence stakeholders, support the development of strong professionals and audit quality, and identify issues to manage the sustainability of the profession.

Prior to this, from 2008, I ran operations from New York as the Director of Assurance Risk & Quality for the global PwC network. In this role I worked with leadership groups across countries to identify risks with potentially significant consequences for the PwC network of audit firms and facilitated the appropriate management of those risks.
I trained in the UK and worked in audit, corporate recovery and restructuring, and standard setting. I was responsible for developing audit processes, corporate reporting thought leadership, corporate governance standards, and undertaking regulatory liaison activities.

My work in Australia has included responsibility for developing and driving strategy and managing the operations of the risk and quality activities at a major accounting firm.

From Executive Women Australia, I am looking to continue to expand my network and share ideas in relation to career, coaching, and management of people through change.
