Nicolette has over 20 years’ experience in IT&T across diverse companies and technologies spanning 3 countries – England, New Zealand and Australia. She has been with Optus Business since 2007.

She has a highly constructive leadership style, ensuring she takes time to challenge, develop and encourage direct reports and those she mentors. She is a proven and consistent high performer and is renowned for her high energy in delivering to the business and its customers. She is passionate and direct in her pursuit of results and always keeps an eye towards communicating the direction and actions necessary to deliver.

Nicolette has a strong focus on collaborating across boundaries both at a regional and local level. She is able to articulate the challenge and engage the right people with the right skills to deliver on agreed commitments.

With the constant change in the IT&T industry and ongoing acquisition activity, Nicolette has been heavily involved in managing cross-functional organisation change, whilst keeping on track to deliver business outcomes. She has been involved in mergers and acquisitions, leading teams to overcome the challenges that impact individuals and businesses, staying positive, focused and pragmatic in her approach.

She has managed sales and operational teams, as well as been instrumental in driving new processes and procedures to deliver positive business benefit. Her current role is Director of Strategic Alliances. This role requires her to manage a team delivering the partner alliance programs, including joint investments to drive market growth and profitability.

Nicolette is fortunate enough to be on the Optus Talent Management Program. She also offers her time to mentor others both within and outside the organisation.
