Penny joined 7-Eleven in 2009 and manages the Human Resources and Learning & Development departments, which includes responsibility for delivering the 7-Eleven Corporate & Franchise training programs.

Before joining 7-Eleven, Penny held a variety of operations, human resource and training management roles with 25 years management experience in hospitality, retail and quick service restaurant industries across both franchise and corporate environments. 

Penny holds a Bachelor of Science from Auckland University and has post graduate training and qualifications in the areas of Human Resources, Training and Assessment. 

Penny is a member of the Wholesale, Retail & Personal Services Industry Advisory Council – Service Skills Australia which provides industry advice to government on workforce development & skills needs to develop the National Vocational Education framework.
