Ms Tiffany Thomson
Executive – Commercialisation / Project Director


Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Resource Management and is a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP). She is also currently undertaking a Bachelor of Forest Science and Management. With 18 years’ experience, Tiffany’s areas of specialist expertise include: environmental science and management for mining and resource extraction; carbon and energy science; climate change mitigation and adaptation; environmental and agricultural assessment; mine rehabilitation and closure; and soil, water and vegetation resource management. She also has expert experience in high-level Federal and State Government liaison and consultation.

With her strong technical and executive background in Environmental Science, Tiffany’s passion for conservation and sustainable land management has provided clear direction in her career. In addition to providing expert consultancy to domestic and international mining, waste and energy/water management and efficiency projects; she has been directly responsible for development and administration of high-profile sustainability and climate change and energy standards and programs for Federal and State Governments, various Australian coal mining corporations; as well as development and implementation of complex National Greenhouse and Energy (analysis and) Reporting System (NGERS), standards, policies and procedures for the top Australian coal miners.

Tiffany is a past Vice President (Australia) and a current Board Member of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand; and was a past long-term Chair, EIANZ – Climate Change and Energy Efficiency SIS (National Climate Change Skills Training Program). She is also a member of the Institute of Foresters Australia and Executive Women Australia.
